The beta version of Kana Clip on the site really need to be updated, as in the .exe the version number is 2.0.0 (Build 31), while on the site the version is 2.1.0 (Build 31). And that is after I downloaded the new beta, so that every time I checked for update using the internal version checker I was prompted for an update...

Very useful. NEat utility.
It just lacks the Windows Key handling as hotkey.
I like to set my clipboard manager to Win+V.

If you can, it will be great.

I used to use Kanaclip on my Win 2K for number of years, and it was the best clipboard replacement I've ever had.

Recently, I installed it on my new Vista, and I'm having annoying problem. Kanaclip works for a while fine, but at some point it stops copying anything.

I know there is 30 items limit, so I refresh clips once in a while, but when it stops copying, nothing helps, until I close it, and restart it. Then, it works OK, again.

In an Open/Close dialog when I paste a clip, Kana Clip overwrites the previous content in the edit box (but this content is unselected). For example: I want to make a filename with 2 clips, but Kana Clip can't do that. I think it happens because when Kana Clip popup menu closes, the (previous) content in the edit box is selected again.

The fix: verify if the content is unselected and save it before popup menu closes, then restore it (paste) with the selected clip. Obviously, Kana Clip must check the cursor position in the content. I know, it's easy to say it...

Kana Clip is a great tool. I hope it gets better.

I JUST DOWNLOADED THIS PROGRAM AND INSTALLED IT IT GOOD AND VERY USEFUL.

THERE ARE TWO THINGS IN ME IN THIS REGARD..
1. IS IT POSSBILE TO KEEP IN A FOLDER AND ACTIVATE INSTEAD OF INSTALLING THIS PROGRAM.

2. WHATEVER THE IMAGE CAPTURED /WRITTEN MESSAGE CAPTUREDIS TO BE DISPLAYED AS A SMALL IMAGE (ICON TYPE) IN THE SYSTEM TRAY UTILITY WHEN PRESSED FOR.
