How can I disable the balloon hint?

In Windows 2000 and Windows XP, when a reminder is triggered, a balloon hint is also displayed. Clicking the balloon will open the triggered reminder window. Use the followings steps if you do not want the hint to be displayed:

1. Open data and setting file folder by using the Open Data Folder menu from system tray menu.
2. Locate the setting file. Default name of the file is Reminder.ini. Open this file by using Notepad.
3. Locate ShowRemBallon=1 line on this file.
4. If you find this line, change the 1 into 0, save and close the file. The balloon hint should be disabled now.
5. If you cannot find this line, add ShowRemBallon=0 line directly below [Options] line, save and close the file. The balloon hint should be disabled now.

The following setting will disable the balloon hint.
