Tray Icon

Question:

Why cannot I see the program tray icon when I logon into Windows? I see that the DynDNS.exe is running from the task manager. I started the program as service.

Answer:

Begin on version 3.1.0.10, there is a delay introduced to bring the tray icon when the user logons into Windows after logoff. The delay is only set when the program is started as service. The delay is intended to minimize the problems encountered when the program runs as service.

Although there is a delay in displaying the tray icon, the program is still monitors the IP address.
